Meet Dr. Michael Rabinowitz

Dr. Michael is originally from Deerfield, Illinois where his love for working with children was evident at a young age as he tutored children with special needs and learning disabilities. He then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience.

He excitedly moved back to his home state and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he was recognized as one of the top students in his class by his induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and receipt of the Delta Dental Outstanding Dental Student Award.

His specialty training in pediatric dentistry was completed at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC where he focused his research on dental emergencies, including trauma and dental infections. He was also honored to be selected to serve as the Chief Resident of the program.

Today Dr. Rabinowitz serves as an integral part of the Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry Team. Dr. Michael is a big kid at heart and loves to sing along to any tune - from radio hits to Disney favorites. He also loves animals and is an avid fan of music, theater, and other performing arts.

Dr. Michael is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry & Illinois State Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. He is also a member of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
